Patrick was born in Seoul (Korea) and adopted when he was eighteen months old. He grew up in Ventura County, about an hour north of Los Angeles. Patrick has been photographing since high school, where he served as the photo editor for the school newspaper.

He currently works as the Program Director for Special Olympics Southern California, an organization he has worked for over 10 years. In his free time, Patrick works special projects and freelance photography jobs for local news sources and clients by referral. His main goal is to use photography as a means of philanthropy, helping non-profits and local startup businesses.

"I enjoy all aspects of photography. It's one of the most accessible art forms, allowing anyone with a camera to capture scenes and memories with ease. Photography isn't exclusive and, those who know shouldn't hesitate to help others learn more methods and techniques.

Everyone has a story to be told. While it's not every photographer's responsibility to use their photography for a greater good, it is a very powerful opportunity available to anyone with a camera."
